Fuerteventura and Lanzarote tend to see less rainfall than the other Canaries now. These islands closer to Africa see much of the best weather during winter. This is quite a contrast to Tenerife now and the other popular islands to the west. The fact they are a short ferry journey from each other makes visiting both much easier. The start of the month will see an average temperature of 18 Celsius. Towards the end of the month this will increase to 19 Celsius. As spring arrives, the temperature improves each month before peaking in summer.
