Cala d’Or Marina & Yacht Club
Cala d’Or Marina is one of the most beautiful found on the island of Majorca. It’s difficult to miss if you visit these parts. The Marina covers an area of 30,000 m2 with mooring berths for around 560 boats. A wide range of services are available which include water and electricity. There are also various types of maintenance for the moored boats and yachts.
Once moored you will definitely want to check out the exclusive Yacht Club. Assuming you have not already requested accommodation there. The Yacht Club is stunning and full of luxury both inside and out. Some of the top facilities include a gymnasium, saunas and steam rooms and a swimming pool. Inside there is also a restaurant and piano bar. There are also various rooms that cater for special occasions and events.
Cala Mondragó Natural Park
Located to the south of Porto Petro is Cala Mondragó. A protected wetlands and natural park of incredible beauty. Cala Mondragó is a remote area with 2 beaches flanked by cliffs. These offer spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding areas.
The natural park is home to many different types of wildlife that are rarely seen in other locations. The sea is crystal clear here which makes it a top spot for snorkelling and other diving activities. Walking is a popular activity here. There are several different trails to take in more of the wildlife and scenery.
